NOVUS Taxatie is affiliated with the NRVT, the Royal NVM and the NWWI. As a client, you can see this as an extra security. Every year, there is additional training and testing, which ensures that the knowledge and quality remain optimal. Thanks to the extensive knowledge of the region and the regulations from the NRVT, we can work in a large area. NOVUS Taxaties is not a real estate agency, but a specialized valuation agency. This means that you can contact us for a wide range of valuations. This does not only include a valuation report that is required for a purchase, bridging or renovation, but also valuations for new construction, leasehold or rented property.

Dees Nijpels is the founder of NOVUS Taxaties and also an NVM Registered Valuer. He is part of the fourth generation of valuers in his family. "In our office I have a marble slab from around 1920, really antique. The stone used to be in the office of my father, Hans Nijpels, NVM Registered Valuer in the Bergen op Zoom region and also a lecturer at the SOM, the predecessor of the Real Estate Academy. The first owner of the stone, Frans Nijpels, was a member of the Dutch Association of Real Estate Agents (NBM) at the time and active in the Den Helder region. The NBM is the predecessor of what is now called the Royal NVM."

Although the profession has changed beyond recognition, the basic principles are still central: attention to the client, knowledge and skills and, above all, reliability.
